My cute little grandma Daisy, Marie King, felt like the perfect inspiration when I created Daisy Chains Workshop. Like her, it’s rooted in family, love and faith, and to this day continues to honor her memory.   I started making jewelry in the 90s when I worked at a Laguna Beach bead shop where I fell in love with beads, semi precious stones, and the process of making jewelry. After spending a couple of summers with friends selling jewelry with the lollapalooza concert tour, I eventually settle down. I got a “real” job, got married and had a couple of kids. I wanted to find a way to be home with my kids, but still do something with the creative part of my heart. I missed making jewelry, and as a new mom, I wanted to make something for other moms to honor their connection with their little ones through personalized jewelry. So with a lot of prayer,  I quit my job and started Daisy Chain’s Workshop right before Thanksgiving. I told my husband give me one year and that was 12 years ago.   Faith is at the center of it all. Every piece starts with a prayer and is made by hand using the finest goldfilled chains and wire and semi precious stones meant  to last and cherished for years to come. My hope is that each piece is a reminder of God‘s love, whether it’s a Bible verse, words of strength, or a special name.    My absolute favorite part of my job is hearing the customers stories behind each piece. Every name,  date and word has a story and being trusted to turn those moments into something you can wear is such a gift.    If this is your first time visiting my site, thank you for coming and taking a peek.
